My Journey as a Medium

 My earliest recollection of seeing Spirit is the age of four. My family lived in an old two-story house in Silver Springs, Maryland and every evening I would see a man with a small dog walking up our stairs. He would reach the top and then immediately be at the bottom again continuing his never-ending walk. I asked my mom who this man was and why he kept climbing the stairs every night, I was particularly interested in the small dog that barked by his side as I thought I should meet him and we could play. My mom would always comfort me assuring me all was well and to go back to sleep. Being determined that the dog should be my new playmate I persisted with my questions until one day my mom sat me down and explained to me that they were Spirits. I still didn't understand.  They were as solid to me as any physical person, and I had a difficult time telling the difference.

  I thought everyone could see Spirit the way I did. Imagine my surprise when my mother explained to me that wasn't the case. She also told me about others in our family who had the gift and how it was not to be talked about.

 After a year my father's military career required us to move and I left my nightly friends behind. I adjusted to the move and continued keeping our secret from my friends.

  After high school I went to college graduating with a Degree in Science and Nursing, after passing my state boards I began my career as a Registered Nurse. I met my husband on Bourbon Street during a magical Mardi Gras in 1981, we married, and our family grew with identical twin daughters. 

 I continued to have experiences and sought help from a lovely English lady Ethel Tunks. Ethel, introduced me to meditation, teaching me to trust my instincts and use my psychic abilities. This gave me tools along with the knowledge passed down from my family, ours is a generational gift that runs through both sides of my family, to help our twin daughters understand their abilities. Busy with life I tried to ignore my destiny, Spirit had other plans.

 A simple fall opened the door to my full unfoldment and journey as an 

Evidential Spiritual Medium. Scheduled to have my broken elbow repaired I had a powerful experience in the surgical staging area. Like most medical people (we typically are the worlds worse patients, and I was no exception) I was nervous over having surgery and just ready to get it over with.  A lady, someone from my childhood that I knew had passed many years before, came and sat beside me, offering comfort and letting me know I would be fine. She also spoke to me of what was to come and my connection to Spirit. 

A couple of weeks out of surgery my husband and biggest supporter of my gifts saw a new metaphysical shop in our town. We went in and somehow, I found myself in a mediumship class. I had never given a reading to anyone, yet here I was connecting to other peoples loved ones in Spirit and giving detailed information. I finally understood what I was meant to do with this gift.

 I began my training in 2017 with a Certified Psychic Medium from the Spiritualist Camp in Cassadaga, Fl, the Reverend Maeda Jones.

 In 2018, I was accepted into a course of study with the internationally renowned Psychic Medium Lisa Williams and her Master Teacher one of the very few Forever Family Foundation Certified Psychic Mediums, Heidi Jaffe. I was trained, tested and Certified as a Spiritual Evidential Medium.

 I've also studied with Suzanne Giesemann completing 22 weeks of Advanced Mediumship Training. I've since been blessed to complete a 30-month mentorship with the legendary British Medium Mavis Pittilla. 

  In June of 2023, I was ordained after completing my training as a Spiritualist Minister with another Forever Family Foundation Certified Medium, the Reverend Janet Nohavec,  founder of the only Spiritual National Union affiliated church in the United States, The Journey Within Spiritualist Church.

 I've had the privilege of working with clients from all over the world. This is my calling and my soul's journey; I am both honored and blessed to do this work of love and service bringing healing to both those here and our loved ones living in the afterlife.
