I've connected to spirit since the tender age of 4. I thought everyone could see spirit the way I did as they were as solid to me as anyone was. I learned later in life that's called objective clairvoyance, it was just natural to me. I also learned that not everyone could see them and was told it was my imagination (my mother was also a gifted clairvoyant but not wanting me to be frightened at such a young age she thought it best to tell me it was my imagination). I became a shy, quiet little girl but as I grew I was fascinated with anything psychic or paranormal. I read anything I could find and in those days there wasn't much. After high school I went to college graduating with a degree in science and nursing. I used my gift to give my patients the very best care but I still didn't talk about it. I met and married a wonderful guy, (38 years and still going strong) settled into my life as a Navy wife and later the role of working Mom when our twin daughters came along. I didn't talk about my gifts although my husband knew and our daughters were displaying their own gifts at very early ages. In the mid 80's I found my first metaphysical store along with my first teachers. I was thrilled to know there was others like me (mediumship wasn't openly talked about then). I was introduced to mediation and what it meant to be psychic this gave me tools to help our daughters in understanding their abilities. My husbands Naval career took us to many places including the opportunity to live in both Scotland and Sicily. Retiring in 2001 we returned to my home state of Florida and began adjusting to civilian life. Time passed and life became busy and chaotic. I retired from nursing started a candle business until one day.....I heard a voice telling me to go garden ( this was my first experience with clairaudience so I figured I needed to listen). Mind you gardening was not my thing, my Mom was a fantastic gardener but I didn't inherit her green thumb. Nevertheless I went outside and thinking it was a good place to start begin weeding the yard. Four months later we had dirt, a completely clean slate, no grass or weeds just dirt, (my husband was thrilled he didn't have to mow, lol). Then a pivotal moment, my beloved little brindle Chihuahua, Ginger woke up one morning and began having seizures, by that afternoon at her vets with my husband and I by her side, she passed into spirit. My grief was almost unbearable and my days were spent trying to fill the void after her passing, keeping busy with my business and gardening. It was during this time I was taking yard trash to the curb that I fell and broke the head to my radial bone in my elbow. This resulted in surgery and new link to spirit (a lady in spirit came to me in the surgical staging area letting me know I would be fine). I thought I had been successful in setting spirits aside....surprise, not so much. A couple of weeks out of surgery my husband saw a new metaphysical shop in our town. We went in and somehow I found myself in a mediumship class (I still don't remember signing up or even walking through the door to class). I had never given a reading to anyone yet here I was connecting to other peoples loved ones in spirit and giving detailed information. I finally understood what I was meant to do with this gift. Within a year I was accepted into a course of study with the internationally renowned psychic medium Lisa Williams and her Master Teacher one of the very few Forever Family Foundation certified psychic mediums, Heidi Jaffe. I was trained, tested and certified as a medium. I've since been blessed to have a mentorship with the legendary British Medium Mavis Pittilla. It has been an extraordinary journey that is far from over. There's always more to learn and experience; as a medium you never stop growing and developing. This is my souls journey. I am both honored and blessed to do this work of love and service bringing healing to both those here and our loved ones in the afterlife.
